Job Title: Regional Finance Manager

Location: Arusha, Tanzania

Job Expectations
The RFM is a key leadership role within the organization responsible for helping to drive the strategic direction of the company's financial operations. You will work closely with the CFO, providing direct support and guidance in the development and implementation of the company's financial objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES
MANAGEMENT
♦ Assist the CFO in Managing the finance department for EA Operations.
♦ Providing financial leadership to the business in all significant transformational processes. .
♦ Drive ongoing cost-saving initiatives in all potential areas of the companies and coordinate with Other Departments across EA.

ACCOUNTING AND REPORTING
♦ Monthly review of trial Balances uploaded onto our reporting system (One Stream) before submission to HO for all EA Entities.
♦ Ensure timely reporting of Monthly management accounts across EA units
♦ Coordinate and submit all HO required reports on a timely manner as per the deadline.

INTERNAL CONTROL | INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL AUDITS
♦ Monthly review of FDR (Financial Disciplinary Review) files.
♦ Ensure that Company policies and procedures are strictly followed by all stakeholders
♦ Ensure compliance with internal controls follow up on all queries raised on Statutory | tax Audit.

TAX MATTERS
♦ Conduct regular checks across all units to ensure ALL statutory report and payments are done in time
♦ Generally, ensure timely compliance with all tax provisions and ensure that all transactions are reviewed from a tax angle to ensure thorough compliance.

HR AND RELATED MATTERS
♦ Maintain dynamic job descriptions for all staff, with consultation of CFO.
♦ Ensure the finance departments are rightsized in terms of staffing
♦ Conduct timely performance appraisals of direct reports and highlights areas of improvements

REQUIREMENTS
At least 10 years in Finance, 6 years should be in a Senior Management position.
Experience with networking, advocacy, and coordination.
Professional accounting qualifications such as CPA or ACCA.
A holder of a minimum MBA or equivalent in Accountancy, Finance or Related Discipline.
Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Accounting Standards (IAS) are prerequisite.
Good spreadsheet and financial modeling skills are a prerequisite.
Knowledge of Accounting Systems (Financial accounting software)
Good understanding of the different business functions and their interaction towards the achievement of the business objectives.
High degree of professional judgment and discretion
Ability and passion for Coaching and Training..
Must be fluent in English and Swahili.
