The company produces and markets Naichi Improved Cookstoves and Naichi Briquettes for households, businesses, and institutions, helping customers adopt cleaner, more efficient, and environmentally friendly cooking practices.
We are seeking a Sales and Marketing Officer to expand market awareness, generate demand, and grow sales across Dar es Salaam and relevant customer segments. The role will combine field-based selling, relationship development, product promotion, and market feedback to support the company’s commercial objectives.

- Develop and execute sales and marketing activities for Naichi Improved Cookstoves and Naichi Briquettes.
- Identify prospects among households, retailers, businesses, institutions, community groups, and other target customers.
- Conduct customer visits, product demonstrations, promotional campaigns, and follow-up activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with distributors, retailers, institutional buyers, and community partners.
- Prepare quotations, sales reports, activity updates, and market intelligence for management.
- Monitor competitor activity, customer needs, product feedback, and opportunities for growth.
What we’re looking for
- Proven ability to prospect, qualify leads, close sales, and maintain customer relationships.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and product-demonstration skills.
- Experience developing sales plans, promotional activities, and customer follow-up processes.
- Ability to sell to households, retailers, businesses, and institutions using consultative techniques.
- Competence in preparing sales reports, maintaining customer records, and tracking targets.
- Good understanding of local markets in Dar es Salaam and willingness to conduct regular field visits.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, organized, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Interest in sustainable energy, clean cooking, environmental solutions, or related products is an advantage.
