Responsibilities
- Edit short-form and long-form videos for social media, digital campaigns, websites, and promotional projects.
- Organize and review raw footage, select strong takes, and maintain efficient editing workflows.
- Apply cuts, transitions, motion graphics, captions, sound design, colour correction, and basic visual effects.
- Adapt content for different platforms, formats, aspect ratios, and audience requirements.
- Collaborate with team members and clients to understand creative briefs and incorporate feedback.
- Maintain consistent brand standards, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects.
What we’re looking for
- Proficiency with professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
- Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, composition, continuity, and visual structure.
- Practical ability in colour correction, audio cleanup, subtitles, transitions, and basic motion graphics.
- Experience editing content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and websites.
- Ability to work with different codecs, resolutions, frame rates, aspect ratios, and export settings.
- Good file organization, media management, version control, and quality assurance habits.
- Creative judgement, attention to detail, reliability, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Clear communication and a collaborative approach to receiving and implementing feedback.
- A portfolio demonstrating original editing work, preferably including branded or social media content.
